Member News
BFC's,
Over the past month a few very exciting things have happened involving a few of our members.
First I would like to introduce our newest member of BFC who came into this world on Oct. 26th 2013 at 10:02am. His name is Charles Alexander Grezak AKA Charlie. He came in at a whopping 8.9lbs and 20 1/2 inches. His eyes seem to light up and even become cross eyed when I speak to him about our adventures that we have had with Big Fire. He is very excited to meet all of you soon and make some great memories at the camp ground. Jill was in labor for about 12 hours and stayed extremely strong and calm, so calm in fact that I was falling asleep on the couch! She did a great job and is currently working on getting Charlie ready for the camping season!
Coffee..... Ahh Tim Hortons Coffee, even better. What is that you think about when driving to work? Is it your deadline that you have to meet on that new security system? Your hundreds of gallons of flat black paint you have to mix? Is it the numerous patients that await you at the eye doctor or hospital? Or is it the 30 kids that you have deal with five days per week? Maybe it months end and all the financial reports are due. Social Media? Retirement????? For one of our members that thing that he thinks about is Tim Hortons Coffee. From the minute he wakes coffee is on his mind, Large Double Double Please. I sat down for a quick interview with Larry this past weekend:
Me: You spent hundreds of dollars on a Kerig Coffee machine, why not just make your own coffee?
Larry: "Nothing can compare to the taste of coffee from Tim Hortons. I have explored several other options and keep going back to Tim Hortons." "It just feels right."
Me: How much money do you spend on Tim Hortons Coffee per year?
Larry: "$1.80 per coffee every day of my life! You do the math."
Me: If Dunkin Doughnuts contacted you and offered you and endorsement deal and free coffee for life, would you make the switch?
Larry: "Come on man, my what kind of silly question is that?"
Me: What is really your driving factor for this dedication to Tim Hortons Coffee?
Larry: "To be honest Tim Hortons is literally a half mile from my new place of employment." "Coolidge Elementary School where I recently accepted a position as PRINCIPAL." "Having my morning coffee clears my mind so I can focus on the kids and help make education a huge part of their lives." "I want them to enjoy school and have an environment that they look forward to coming to."
Larry was awarded the position of Principal at Coolidge Elementary School in Livonia on Oct. 28th 2013. Congratulations! We all know these kids will love having you as a principal and you will do an excellent job.
Note**** This was a made up interview and these where not actual quotes from Larry, but I know that this is how he would have answered some of these questions.
Thanks
Rick Grezak
BFC President.
